Special assembly of Walksnail Moonlight Kit:
Step 1: Preparing Electronics
(coming soon)
Step 2: Building The Frame
Step 3: Tuning The ITSY
Months of time have been spent to optimize the best possible tune for your ITSY. This was done considering all flight experience: indoor, outside and in the wind.
Setup the ESCs:
Use your esc firmware tool to create the following settings:
- 48khz PMW rate
- Enable PMW dithering (checkbox) if available
Betaflight:
After setting up your RX, TX and motors in Betaflight please configure PIDs as follows:
Filter settings:
IMPORTANT: go to the Betaflight CLI and enter the following settings:
- set rpm_filter_q = 350
- Then type in: save ... and hit enter
PID settings:
Notes:
- Change mode to RP to enable custom YAW PIDS
- Set dynamic idle value higher (>70) for more floaty low throttle descents or lower (<70)for faster descents
- To customize the tune based on frame weight ( Depending on VTX selection ,etc) adjust Master Multiplier as desired. (Base is 1.25)
Rate settings:
Notes:
- Rates above are for smooth cinematic flight with ability to do acro.
